Marcus Schmieke (Florida Vedic College) is President of the European Academy of Vedic Sciences and head of the Vasati and Vedic Astrology Departments at the Florida Vedic College. He is Director of the Vedic Academy in Germany and President of the German chapter of the International Institute of Predictive Astrology.

Marcus Schmieke was born 1966 in Oldenburg, Germany, and studied Physics in Hannover and Heidelberg. He is one of the world's pioneers in Vasati and founder of the Vedic Academy in Germany. Since 1996 then he has been giving seminars and working as mentor for students of Vasati (Vedic Architecture) and Vedic Astrology. Being a prolific author  of more than 20 books translated in 14 languages he is well known also beyond the borders of Europe.
He is a mentor for students of Vasati and Vedic Astrology Courses at the EAVS, and he also teaches the Karma & Dharma module of the Vedanta Personality Development course.
 
Tiziano Valentinuzzi, Dott. graduated in Astronomy at the University of Padua, Italy and studies vedic science and philosophy since 1996. He is now completing his PhD in Cosmology at the University of Padua where he studies the scaling relations for elliptical galaxies and the nature of the dark matter in the universe. He also promotes in many ways the positive integration between science and spirituality.

He is the founder of the “Accademia Vedica” in Italy and the head of the Department of Sciences of the European Academy of Vedic Sciences; he gives seminars and conferences on Vasati and Vedic Astrology and writes articles on vedic cosmology and science. He studied Vasati at the “Veden Akademie” with Marcus Schmieke and Vedic Astrology with Dr. David Frawley ad as a tutor of EAVS he assists in taking care of the Vasati and Vedic Astrology students in Italy.
 

Florian Heinzmann, MA, the Head of the Sanskrit Department of the European Academy of Vedic Sciences, graduated in Literature at the University of Heidelberg. He continued his study in Sanskrit und Bengali and currently works on his dissertation in religious studies. He cooperates with the Vedic Academy in Germany in the field of academic contacts and presentation.

He is author of several philosophical articles published in the Tattva-Viveka and other magazines and often lectures on hindovedic philosophy and religion. He participated in several interreligious conferences in Germany. Additionally he works as editor and translator for the BBT Publishers.

At the European Academy of Vedic Sciences he is co-tutor for the students of the Sanskrit Courses. Furthermore, he is preparing a Bengali course for gaining the basic understanding of classical Bengali texts.

 

Reinhart Schacker, CAT/CAS, is Head of the Ayurveda Department and mentor for students of the Ayurveda Correspondence Course. 1983 he spent 6 months in Rishikesh (India) studying Ayurveda and in 1986 he completed his yoga teacher course at the Shivananda Yoga Centre. He graduated from the SEVA Academy (Munich, Germany) first as Ayurveda Therapist (CAT) with a practical training in India and completed his studies as Ayurveda Specialist (CAS) in 1997.

Since 1999 he is teaching the Ayurveda Correspondence Course at the Vedic Academy in Germany, mentoring students and leading workshops. He has many years of experience in giving yoga, breathing and reiki courses and seminars of Ayurveda and Ayurvedic cooking, especially in adult education.

He is author of two books on Ayurveda, both published in Germany. He often lectures on the topic of Ayurveda and writes articles published in German.

 
Sacinandana Swami is teacher at the Vedanta Department of the Florida Vedic College and the European Academy for Vedic Sciences. He is one of the founding members of the Vaishnava Training and Education project. At Bhaktivedanta College in Belgium he is a member of the Faculty Council, where he also teaches courses on character development. At the EAVS he is teaching the Atma and Paramatma Module of the Vedic Personality Development course.

Born 1956 in Hamburg, Germany, since 1971 a monk in the tradition of Caitanya Vaishnavism, he has been travelling around the globe spreading the Vedic wisdom and helping others in their spiritual life and personal development. He gives workshops and retreats on practical spirituality and lectures about hindovedic philosophy and has written The Nectarean Ocean of the Holy Name and The Way of the Great Departure. His new book on the Gayatri mantras will be published shortly and aims to become the standard work on this subject-matter.
 

Jochen Weiss is teacher at the Sanskrit Department of the Florida Vedic College and author of the Sanskrit Course of the European Academy of Vedic Sciences. He has studied physics and Indian philosophy at the University of Heidelberg, and he has been studying Sanskrit language and literature since more then 15 years, with special emphasis on hindovedic scriptures.

He works as literary author, translator and editor. He translated several books into German language, and also translates also German publications of the Vedic Academy in Germany into English. His first literary work „Kali comes“ is a historical novel taking place in the Vedic times. He gives seminars and courses on hindovedic philosophy.

At the European Academy for Vedic Sciences he is the teaching the Sanskrit Courses and the Triguna module of the Vedanta Personality Development Course.

 

Jelena Neumann studied Astrology at the Vedic Academy in Germany from Marcus Schmieke and works as astrologer. She especially learned and specialized the Vedic partnership astrology. She assisted in the development of the Prashna astrological software for the Vedic Academy by writing the texts for the horoscope interpretation. She gives classes in Astrology, works as astrological advisor and writes Articles about astrology. At the European Academy of Vedic Sciences as co-tutor she is supporting Marcus Schmieke in taking care of the Vedic Astrology students.
