Florian
Heinzmann, MA, the Head of the Sanskrit Department
of the European Academy of Vedic Sciences, graduated in
Literature at the University of Heidelberg. He continued
his study in Sanskrit und Bengali and currently works
on his dissertation in religious studies. He cooperates
with the Vedic Academy in Germany in the field of academic
contacts and presentation.
He is editor and author of several philosophical articles
published in the Tattva-Viveka and other magazines and
often lectures on hindovedic philosophy and religion.
He participated in several interreligious conferences
in Germany. Additionally he works as editor and translator
for the BBT Publishers.
At the European Academy of Vedic Sciences he is co-tutor
for the students of the Sanskrit Courses. Furthermore,
he is preparing a Bengali course for gaining the basic
understanding of classical Bengali texts.

Jochen
Weiss is teacher at the Sanskrit Department of
the Florida Vedic College and author of the Sanskrit Course
of the European Academy of Vedic Sciences. He has studied
physics and Indian philosophy at the University of Heidelberg,
and he has been studying Sanskrit language and literature
since more then 15 years, with special emphasis on hindovedic
scriptures.
He works as literary author, translator and editor.
He translated several books into German language, and
also translates also German publications of the Vedic
Academy in Germany into English. His first literary
work „Kali comes“ is a historical novel
taking place in the Vedic times. He gives seminars and
courses on hindovedic philosophy.
At the European Academy for Vedic Sciences he is the
teaching the Sanskrit Courses and the Triguna module
of the Vedanta Personality Development Course.
