Marcus Schmieke is the President of the European Academy of Vedic Sciences. He is the Director of the Vedic Academy in Germany and the President of the German chapter of the International Institute of Predictive Astrology.

Marcus Schmieke was born 1966 in Oldenburg, Germany, and studied Physics in Hannover and Heidelberg. He is one of the world's pioneers in Vasati and founder of the Vedic Academy in Germany. Since 1996 then he has been giving seminars and working as mentor for students of Vasati (Vedic Architecture) and Vedic Astrology. Being a prolific author  of more than 20 books translated in 14 languages he is well known also beyond the borders of Europe.
He is a mentor for students of Vasati and Vedic Astrology Courses at the EAVS, and he also teaches the Karma & Dharma module of the Vedanta Personality Developmet course.
 
Sacinandana Swami is the head of the Vedanta Department of the European Academy for Vedic Sciences. He is one of the founding members of the Vaishnava Training and Education project. At Bhaktivedanta College in Belgium he is a member of the Faculty Counsil, where he also teaches courses on character development. At the EAVS he is teaching the Atma and Paramatma Module of the Vedic Personality Development course.

Born 1956 in Hamburg, Germany, since 1971 a monk in the tradition of Caitanya Vaisnavism, he has been travelling around the globe spreading the Vedic wisdom and helping others in their spiritual life and personal development. He gives workshops and retreats on practical spirituality and lectures about hindovedic philosophy and has written The Nectarean Ocean of the Holy Name and The Way of the Great Departure. His new book on the Gayatri mantras will be published shortly and aims to become the standard work on this subject-matter.
 
Jochen Weiss is teacher at the Sanskrit Department. He has studied physics and indian philosophy at the University of Heidelberg.

He works as literary author and his first work „Kali comes“ is a historical novel taking place in the Vedic times. He also translated and edited several books and publications of the Vedic Academy. At the European Academy for Vedic Sciences he ist teaching Sanskrit and the Triguna module of the Vedanta Personality Development Course.
